A surprising number of you didn’t realize borzois were a thing.
Let me share with you some choice photographs from my collection of the muppet dog.
Juanjo Guarnido’s watercolours from Blacksad: A Silent Hell
And here’s the first page of my new book. White text on left reads, “I walk home without you.”
My brother’s gone out of town to visit his best friend near the borders. It’s quite lonely knowing he won’t be in his room… :’( Hopefully (lol) he’ll be returning tomorrow, but there’s really no telling since those two hit it off so well from the first day they met!
It’s so close to New Year now that it is verging on weird. These past few years I haven’t taken celebrations to heart at all, partly a depressive aspect to be frank (being frank on the internet doesn’t ever seem to help anybody, but hey), but this year seems to be different…which isn’t because I’m having a better time partying or anything since I am definitely not: my family decided (after the ‘fun period’ on Christmas Eve) to have a quiet end of year celebrations this time round. It’s because I’ve mentally accepted failures and parts of myself that was skidding off the platform trying to find my identity, my purpose in going to art college, and deciding to start over anew.
According to the Japanese/Chinese manner of counting the rotating cycle of each year - er, zodiacs in short - next year is the year of the Dragon. Fanciest one of them all! Or not so much. Just mythic. Best be sure the Targaryans don’t start popping up and claiming their right to rule over our mundane lives by the power of television :P That’ll be happening in April ^^
In the meantime everyone, happy Christmas and a merry New Year!
…? …Oh. *Actually happened to me before*
